FM modulated style synths is currently popular in house music for those huge breaks. FM synthesizers will get you that dirty metal bass sound that comes screeching through your speakers. In the following video we’ll be using EFM1, Logics’ FM synthesizer. We’ll explore how to make those unique Tchami bass sounds using EFM1 by simply adjusting the synth modulated waveforms. We’ll then throw some standard overdrive and reverb on the track to give our sound some grit.
