Side chaining in electronic music is a must. We love giving our tracks a natural pumping movement with some side chain . Most of the time – the kick controls the side chain; but, what happens if the kick drops out of the arrangement and the pumping effect is still desired? Creating a Ghost Trigger tracks lets the kick drop while maintaining the side chain trigger. In this tutorial we’ll explore how to side chain (the right way) using a ghost trigger track.
