If your in the market for a saturation plugin, I recommend you take a look a Softube’s Saturation Knob. Earlier this month, Saturation Knob became a free download that’s compatible with all DAWs that support VST, Audio Units or AAX – and also as a Rack Extension in Propellerheads Reason. More saturation is always welcomed in a virtual studio setup.
Use Saturation Knob to add some grit to your tracks. Use it to beef up your bass lines, add some harmonics to vocals, or use it to crush your drum loops.
Take a look at this demo. Its shows the Reason Rack Extension version but you’ll get an idea what this plugin can actually do.
Head on over to Softube and download the installer package. Just remember to only install Saturation Knob when installing. Otherwise, it will install other demo plugins by Softube.
