A couple of weeks ago we posted a Chord Trigger preset for Mike Posner’s latest hit, I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix). Since then, we’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding how we made the pluck synth to sound like the one heard in the song. In the following tutorial we’ll show you how to make the pluck synth from I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix).
The sound can be adapted to other genres within EDM and hip hop as it’s easily transferable. We’ll be using Logics’ ES2 Synthesizer to re-create the sound.
Don’t worry if you don’t use Logic! The steps used in this video can easily be adapted to your favourite synth 🙂
